
Many of our patients initially meet with one of our Physician Assistants for an initial consultation, emergency appointments and follow up. Our Physician Assistants are a critical part of our team and each are well-trained and specialize in orthopaedics.
Physician Assistant (PA), graduated from Bowman Gray School of Medicine Wake Forest University in August of 1982. He also attended Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland and Catholic University of American Washington DC.
PA Perreira, has been licensed since 1982 and has worked at The Center for Bone & Joint Disease since July of 1986. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants and has past certifications by American Heart Association in Basic life Support, Basic Instructor, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C), is a 22-year veteran Air Force officer, with 19 years of experience as a PA. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine and holds a Master’s degree from the University of Nebraska. He completed Orthopedic Residency training at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland. PA Kette also has additional training in Medical Management of Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Casualties. While in the Air Force he achieved the Air Force Meritorious Service Commendation and Achievement Medals. He was Air University Physician Assistant of the Year, Company Grade Officer of the Quarter, Air Force Aerospace Medical Research Laboratory Airman of the Year, and while stationed at Wright Patterson AFB was Airman of the Quarter.
PA Kette is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Florida Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Air Force Physician Assistants. He holds certifications from the National Commission on Certification of Physicians; he has training in Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider, Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider and Basic Trauma Life Support Provider. Scott D. Grimm, P.A.
Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C), graduated from Nova Southeastern PA program in August of 2007. He also holds a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of South Florida in Biomedical Sciences. He has many years experience in sports medicine and fitness training. Scott was the Head Strength and Conditioning Intern at the University of South Florida. He trained, motivated and encouraged athletes in their workouts and respective sports.
PA Grimm joined The Center for Bone & Joint Disease in October of 2007. He is a member of the American Academy orthopaedics, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider, Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider and Basic Trauma Life Support Provider.
Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C), joined The Center for Bone & Joint Disease in April of 2008. He graduated from Daemon College in Amherst, NY with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. While in school he demonstrated his excellent leadership skills by being president of several organizations including Students Without Boarders, Phi Beta Gamma Fraternity and Internal Greek Association. He has also participated in humanitarian aid to the Dominican Republic.
PA Obenrader is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Florida Association of Physician Assistants. He holds certifications from the National Commission on Certification of Physicians. He has training in Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider, Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider and Basic Trauma Life Support Provider.
